The dive trip to the Florida Keys was most excellent! We did two days diving on the USAFS VANDENBERG off Key West in perfect conditions. Great viz, no current, good karma. Key Largo diving was equally as good and included a night dive on the USS SPIEGEL GROVE. On the mooring line watching a curtin of shimmering bubbles rise up from the divers below in the dark...magic.

In Key Largo the evening gathering at the Pelican Inn waterfront was often rewarded with thunderstorms over the Everglades. Nature in the raw. Followed by dinner at Mrs Mac's Kitchen for the finest seafood in town. A great trip by all accounts.

We have the latest in dive computer technology, the Mares ICON HD. It is menu driven and easy to use. The ICON HD has a simple built in digital compass, rechargable battery, and computer interface. This is the future of dive computers. These are on allocation and hard to find. Come by and check it out. All other computers look obsolete by comparison.

ICON HD is a True full-color display computer. Its screen is made using LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) with TFT (Thin Film Transistor) technology.

An intuitive software, the use of large characters, and the contrast created by using different colors, makes the on screen information easy to read, immediate and clear.

During the dive besides the standard navigation mode EXTEND, divers can switch to a second dive mode PROFILE. ICON HD processes and shows the full dive curve in real time. The computer’s memory allows the storage of images and photos, including digital maps of diving spots.
