Looking for a dive club. Maine Dive Sites?
| Important notice: email address changed to mainedivers@myfairpoint.net
Here at Maine Divers we are always looking for ways to enhance you diving experience through training and better dive sites. The wreck of the F/V Jessica Ann off Cape Elizabeth is now an operational dive site. This is a fully intact 80ft fishing trawler that went down on February 20th 2000. The crew was rescued, but the ship was committed to the deep. The ship lies in 140ft with the hull rising to 115ft (MLW). It is covered in life enhanced by the good viz that come with deep water. This dive will require additional training and an Advanced Open Water (AOW) certification. We will lead dives on this wreck. If you are tech/deep/wreck qualified and want to experience the Jessica Ann, call us for the next dive trip. If you are interested in getting trained to go on this type of dive, read on. PADI's online academics (eLearning) has proven convenient and successful. This is the first choice for those where time is a premium. Call for more information 775-3467.
